A Visitor’s Guide to Fort Worth Neighborhoods
Downtown – downtown Fort Worth is a fun place to be. Sundance Square, which was named after Butch Cassidy’s sidekick, is 20 blocks of brick-paved sidewalks and historic buildings teeming with places to eat, drink, and have fun. Great for walking – or take the free Molly the Trolley.
The Cultural District – just west of downtown, the Cultural District lives up to its name – it is home to the Kimbell Art Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Amon Carter Museum, as well the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame.
The Stockyards – head north from downtown and step back in time to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. It’s definitely tourist-heavy, but there is plenty of western-themed things to see and do.
